VERMILLION, S.D.—The University of South Dakota athletic department and the Howling Pack will host the 2023 Calling All Coyotes – A Red Tie Event on Friday, April 14 beginning at 5 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. The organizations are thrilled to highlight another successful year of athletic competition in front of a record audience of more than 800 guests. Guest experiences will include the #GoYotes Photo Lounge where they can snap pictures to commemorate the evening, cocktails during the Howling Hour and the opportunity to mingle with other Coyotes. New activities debuting at this year's event include a putting contest, a hoop shooting game and a live painter.
 
Jay Elsen and John Thayer are back to emcee this year's event which features remarks from USD President Sheila Gestring, USD Director of Athletics David Herbster and student-athletes. Dinner, the live program and live auction will begin at 6:30 p.m.
 

Online Silent Auction

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the Howling Pack's largest annual fundraiser even if you are unable to join us in Sioux Falls. More than 160 packages are available for online bidding starting today, by clicking here. The silent auction will close on April 14 at 8:30 p.m. CDT.
 
Packages for the online silent auction include loge tickets to a Jason Aldean concert in Sioux Falls, a custom wrapped Coyote refrigerator, multiple birthday party experiences for children, an outdoor pizza oven, Coyote gear and so much more.
 

Live Auction on April 14

The live auction includes 15 items and packages that will be up for bidding on April 14 during the red tie event. Packages include a week-long stay in a Costa Rica villa, an official Kansas City Super Bowl XVII jersey signed by Jack Cochrane, a vacation in Belize, and a charter trip to Indiana State with the Coyote football team.

Calling All Coyotes is an evening of celebration dedicated to the achievements of USD student-athletes while recognizing a community that has helped create opportunities for their success. This event provides a unique opportunity to personally connect supporters with Coyote student-athletes, coaches and staff. All proceeds from this event will help fund student-athlete scholarships through the Howling Pack.
