The Coyotes
It's the third race in the month of September for South Dakota. As September turns the corner into October, we are headed into the meat of the cross country season with the Summit League Championships just over a month away.

The Coyote women placed three individuals inside the top-10 last time out at the SDSU Classic. Seventh-year senior
Abby Ripperda led the way in third place with a 5,000-meter time of 18:02.60. Freshman
Madison Brouwer, recently named the Siouxland Female Athlete of the Year, finished one spot back in fourth and fourth-year junior
Abrielle Jirele was seventh.

The Competition
Friday's race will be the first outside of state lines this season. Historically the Roy Griak Invitational includes a stacked field taking on a difficult course filled with rolling hills.
