The Coyotes travel to Des Moines, Iowa, today for the Zach Johnson Invitational hosted by Drake. Participants will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. The event begins with a shotgun start Monday at 8:30 a.m.

The tournament will be held at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa. The par 71 course spans 6,950 yards and was fully renovated in 2017.

The field consists of 13 teams mostly from the Midwest. Five of the 10 Summit League teams will be represented in the event including USD, St. Thomas, North Dakota, Western Illinois, and North Dakota State.

South Dakota sends six men to the Zach Johnson Invitational including junior
Logan Hamak who recorded a team-best three-round score of 221 at the Wildcat Fall Invitational last week.

Seniors
Max Schmidtke,
Ryan Neff, and
Nick LaMotte will also be joining the Coyotes in Des Moines.

Rounding out the team are freshmen
Cole Witherow and
Joe Rohlwing. Last week Witherow shot the Coyotes' second-best, round-three score with a 3-over-par 75. Rohlwing will compete as an individual in the Zach Johnson Invite.
