Madison, Wis. — The South Dakota men's and women's cross country team raced in the 2024 Wisconsin Pre-Nationals.
The Yotes faced tough competition as the majority of the teams are nationally ranked in the top 30. Including No. 3 University of Arkansas, No. 4 Iowa State University, and No. 5 University of Notre Dame on the men's side. On the women's side No. 2 Brigham Young University, No. 3 University of Washington, and No. 4 University of Notre Dame competed with the Coyotes.
The women's cross country team placed 26
th overall where
Madison Brouwer was the first to finish the race for the Coyotes. Brouwer took 94
th place overall.
Caleb Rivera was the first Yote to finish the race on the men's side and took 37
th overall. The team finished in 22
nd place.
