Peoria, Ill. — The South Dakota cross country team raced in the 2024 NCAA Midwest Regional meet earlier this morning where the men's and women's teams both placed 22
nd overall.
The men's team scored a total of 564 points with
Caleb Rivera (Sr.) scoring the team low of 69 points. Rivera was the first Coyote to finish the race and took 70
th place with a time of 30:53.98.
On the women's side,
Madison Brouwer (So.) paced the Yotes through another race and clinched herself a new PR, clocking a time of 20:46.73. Brouwer took 40
th place, scoring the women's team low of 40 points out of the total 595.
