Peoria, Ill. — The South Dakota cross country team raced in the 2024 NCAA Midwest Regional meet earlier this morning where the men's and women's teams both placed 22^nd overall.
 
The men's team scored a total of 564 points with Caleb Rivera (Sr.) scoring the team low of 69 points. Rivera was the first Coyote to finish the race and took 70^th place with a time of 30:53.98.
 
On the women's side, Madison Brouwer (So.) paced the Yotes through another race and clinched herself a new PR, clocking a time of 20:46.73. Brouwer took 40^th place, scoring the women's team low of 40 points out of the total 595.
