SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After a personal best performance in the first competition of the 2024-25 indoor track and field season, Landon Olson has earned the Summit League's Men's Field Peak Performer of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
 
Olson, a junior from Battle Creek, Nebraska, won the high jump at the SDSU Holiday Invite. He became the 11^th Coyote to jump over seven feet in the event in program history with his clearance of 7-0 ½ Friday night. The height also ties him for fourth in USD history.
 
Olson and the Coyotes are back in action on January 18 inside the DakotaDome for the USD Alumni Meet.
