GOODYEAR, Ariz. – The South Dakota golf team wrapped up the third and final round of play at the Loyola Intercollegiate in Goodyear, Arizona on Tuesday.
Nick LaMotte led the way for USD in the tournament. The Coyotes finished the weekend in 20
th place as a team.
LaMotte turned in a 1-over par 73 on the day to finish in a tie for 51
st place overall with a three-round score of 1-over par.
Logan Hamak had the Coyotes' low score in round three with a 1-under par 71. He tied for 80
th overall with an overall score of 6-over par.
Cole Witherow turned in a 3-over par 75 today to match Hamak's overall score of 6-over par and tie him for 80
th place.
Max Schmidtke had a 4-over par 76 today to finish 7-over par on the tournament, good for a tie for 84
th place.
Ryan Neff had his best round of the tournament, turning in a 1-over par 73. That was good for a 113
th place finish.
The Coyotes had two golfers competing as individuals today.
Parker Etzel finished his round at 4-over par with a 76. He finished 10-over par overall, good for a tie for 104
th place.
Joe Rohlwing returned to action today after missing yesterday with an injury. He turned in a 7-over par 79 on the day.
South Dakota finished the tournament with a team score of 17-over par which saw them finish in 20
th place. North Dakota State won the team event. NDSU's Jake Skarperud won the individual title.
