SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota swimming and diving team member Gabbie Ahrendt has been selected as the TicketSmarter Summit League Peak Performer of the Week the league announced on Tuesday.
 
Ahrendt, a freshman from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, contributed to five top nine performances during the two-day Coyote Invitational held at Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls.
 
The Summit League Women's Peak Swimmer of the Week won the 500 free in 5:07.09, was second in the 100 fly (57.77) and placed eighth in the 100 free (53.39). She also helped Coyote relay teams finish fourth in the 200 free relay and ninth in the 200 medley relay.
