Selena Bird was named to the Academic All-Summit League team, the league announced on Wednesday.

Bird, from Miami, Florida, is one of two sophomores honored on the seven-member squad.

Bird was one of two Coyotes to record at least 20 individual singles wins during the season as she finished with a 20-7 overall record. She was 5-1 in the Summit League and 12-4 during the spring dual season and closed by winning her final eight matches in a row.

Bird helped the Coyotes forge a 12-10 dual record and runner-up finishes in both the Summit League regular season and tournament.
