Marshall Faurot has been named the Summit League May/June Peak Performer of the Month presented by TicketSmarter.
Faurot followed up is first team All-America honors from the indoor season by securing the same accolade at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in June. He finished in a tie for eighth place in the men's pole vault to secure the first team nod with a clearance of 17-7 ¼ (5.37m). Faurot had cleared a season-best height of 17-9 ¼ (5.42m) at the NCAA West Preliminary to reach the finals.
A native of Scott City, Kansas, Faurot captured his fourth Summit League Championship title in the pole vault in May. He completed the indoor and outdoor sweep for the second-straight year.
Faurot is one of two Coyotes to net the Summit's monthly honor during the 2023-24 academic year, joining women's basketball guard Grace Larkins who earned the honor in December.
