RICHMOND, Va. — The South Dakota men's and women's swimming and diving teams received Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 2024 spring semester.
To qualify for the recognition, teams must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale during the 2024 spring term. There were 722 teams from 417 institutions recognized with the Scholar All-America honor.
The South Dakota women earned Scholar All-America status for a 19
th consecutive term after earning a 3.52 team GPA. Six of the eight Summit League women's programs received the award. The Coyote women had 14 individuals earn 4.0 GPA's in the spring semester.
The Coyote men earned a 3.22 team GPA to receive the award for a 14
th consecutive semester. Of the eight Summit League men's programs, six of them received the award. The South Dakota men had eight individuals earn a 4.0 GPA during the spring semester.
