Summit League Championships

South Dakota to host Summit’s cross country, outdoor track championships

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—The Summit League has announced the dates, sites and hosts for its 2024-25 championships, with South Dakota selected to host the Summit League Cross Country Championships and the Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
 
The cross country meet is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2, at The Bluffs in Vermillion. South Dakota will serve as the host for the cross country meet for the second time, previously hosting in 2017. The Coyote women are the defending conference champions and have captured six Summit titles all-time.
 
The outdoor championships are slated for May 15-17 at Lillibridge Track Complex and Gottsleben Field in Vermillion. This marks the third time that South Dakota will serve as host for the outdoor championships, previously hosting in 2016 and 2021. The Coyote women have won two Summit League outdoor titles and the men have won one.
