VERMILLION, S.D. — South Dakota track and field earned three of the four possible Kwik Star Summit League Indoor Track & Field Peak Performer of the Week honors announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Erin Kinney earned the Kwik Star Summit League Women's Indoor Track Peak Performer of the Week after securing a pair of event victories at the USD Alumni Meet Saturday.
Cassidy Mooneyhan helped the Coyotes sweep the women's awards by claiming the Kwik Star Summit League Women's Indoor Field Peak Performer of the Week, and
Landon Olson helped the Coyotes complete in the field awards sweep by claiming the Kwik Star Summit League Men's Indoor Field Peak Performer of the Week.

Kinney won her 14
th Peak Performer of the Week honor of her career, and first this season, by cruising to wins in the 60- and 200-meter dash Saturday at the USD Alumni. Kinney ran the Summit League's top time in the 60-meters in the prelims with a time of 7.27 seconds and won the event with a time of 7.34 seconds. She also took the top time at the meet, and in the conference, with a 24.26 in the 200.

Kinney, hailing from Sioux Falls, is a four-time indoor Summit League champion and 11-time conference champion overall. She also holds three indoor and four outdoor school records. Her 60-meter time is tied for 14
th in Division I this season.

Mooneyhan earned her first Peak Performer of the Week honor of her career this week as she reached new heights Saturday. Mooneyhan cleared 14-6 ¾ to move into third in USD history indoor. Her height is the top height in the Summit League this winter as she is the only Summit Leaguer to clear 14-0 this season. Her mark is also the fourth best mark in Division I this season.

Mooneyhan, a senior from Pea Ridge, Arkansas, is an honorable mention all-American outdoor and an all-American indoor during the 2022-23 season.

Olson picked up his second Peak Performer of the Week of the season and of his career Tuesday. He won the first award of the season in December for his winning high jump at the SDSU Holiday with a personal record over 7-0. He improved his personal best Saturday by clearing 7-2 ½ to tie for second in program history.

Olson has the top mark in the Summit League this season and is the only high jumper over 7-0 in the conference this season. His 7-2 ½ is tied for third in Division I so far this winter.

The Coyotes return to action Saturday at the Mark Colligan Memorial in Lincoln, Nebraska.
