Vermillion, S.D. — The South Dakota women's triathlon team has been named to the CTCA Scholar All-Academic team, which is achieved by upholding a team GPA average of 3.2.
Sophomore,
Alexa Magallon, received an individual first team honor of Scholar All-American after obtaining a 3.5 GPA average or higher in the fall 2024 term and after her performance at the 2024 Collegiate Triathlon National Championships in Clermont, Florida. Magallon finished 17
th overall at the championships with a time of 01:00:48 from start to finish, scoring 178 points for the Coyotes.

Grace Busch (Sr.),
and Ella Spitz (So.) were named CTCA Scholar All-Academic Honorable Mention after recording a 3.5 GPA average for the fall semester. This is their second time achieving this honor.
