TEMPE, Ariz. – South Dakota triathlon competes one more time this fall, taking on the Collegiate National Championships in Tempe, Arizona Saturday morning.

THE YOTES
The Coyotes enter Saturday's National Championships off a strong performance at the West Regional in Forth Worth a couple weeks ago. The Coyotes earned a third place finish at the competition, led by an eighth place finish by
Chelsea Webber, who totaled 85 points for USD in team race. Arizona and TCU, the host of the regional, took the top two spots.
RACE INFORMATION
South Dakota's athletes are split into two heats of Saturday's championships, either racing in heat B at 1:45 p.m. Central (12:45 p.m. in Tempe) or heat A at 4 p.m. Central (3 p.m. local).
Sydni Sawyer and
Clara Williams are set to compete in heat B, while Webber,
Alexa Magallon,
Ella Spitz, and
Franziska Neck will compete in heat A.

LAST YEAR'S RACE
The Coyotes took seven at last year's National Championships, led by
Alexa Magallon scoring 178 of USD's 777 points. USD returns four of the seven athletes who competed at the championships in Florida last year.
