Jack Berdahl has been named the KwikStar Summit League Men's Swimmer Peak Performer of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Berdahl, from Littleton, Colorado, competed in six races during a pair of duals last weekend inside the DakotaDome and finished in first place all six times, including a pair of school records.
The Coyotes closed the final chapter on the DakotaDome Pool, a six-lane, 25 meter pool, with dual victories over Omaha on Friday and St. Thomas on Saturday.
Berdahl set a pair of school records in meters against Omaha, touching the wall in 1:04.11 to win the 100 breast and helping the 400 medley relay quartet slice seven full seconds off the school record. He also won the 200 breast during the dual.
He would go on to win the 50 breast and 100 breast and swim on a winning 200 medley relay foursome against St. Thomas.
South Dakota hosts the two-day Coyote Invitational on Friday and Saturday inside the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls.
