VERMILLION, S.D. – The Summit League and CBS Sports Network announced its lineup of nationally televised games for the upcoming season. The South Dakota men's basketball team will be featured on CBSSN twice this season once in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center and once on the road.  
 
The Coyotes matchup on Saturday, February 7 in Brookings, South Dakota against South Dakota State will be the first nationally televised game of the season for the Yotes. Tip-off between the Yotes and Jacks is set for 5 p.m.
 
South Dakota returns to CBSSN on Wednesday, February 25 when they host Omaha at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center at 6 p.m.
 
The Coyotes and Mavericks met on the hardwood three times last season with each team picking up a win on its home floor. Omaha won the third meeting over the Yotes in the Summit League Tournament Semifinals.
 
SDSU won narrowly over the Yotes in the SCSC last season 94-91. South Dakota was paced by Isaac Bruns who was tied for a game high with 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting with a pair of steals.
 
South Dakota was picked to finish fifth in the Summit League Preseason Poll, while the reigning regular season and tournament champion Omaha was picked second. Bruns was named to the preseason first team, and Tony Osburn was voted to the first team for the Mavs alongside Ja'Sean Glover earned a second team nod. SDSU's Kalen Garry was also named to the preseason first team.
 
CBS Sports Network will also air four games at the 2026 Summit League Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments. The men's semifinals will air on Saturday, March 7 at 7 p.m. CT along with both title games on Sunday, March 8. The women's championship game is slated for 3 p.m. CT and the men's is slated for 8 p.m. CT.
