VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota triathlete
Chelsea Webber's fall schedule now includes a trip to Australia, as the senior is one of five triathletes competing for the United States at the U23 Women's World Championships in October.

Webber, who has already logged a pair of top 10 finishes in collegiate races this fall, also logged a top 10 finish over the summer at the U23 Americas Triathlon Championships in Columbia. She was the top finisher from the United States in the field, and now has a chance to rep the red, white, and blue again this fall.

The 2025 World Triathlon Championship Finals are in Wollongong, Australia beginning Oct. 15 and running through the 19
th. Webber is scheduled to run in the U23 women's race on Oct. 16. She is one of 44 entries in the event.

The 2025 U23 World Triathlon Championships will consist of a 1,500-meter swim, a 40-kilometer bike, and a 10-kilometer run. It is scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m. in Wollongong, or 1:15 a.m. Central Time.
