VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota Coyotes women's tennis team signed four newcomers Wednesday morning, with two coming in the spring of 2026 and two arriving in the fall of 2026.
Cassy Marra (Spring 2026)
From Morcote, Ticino, Switzerland, Cassy Marra joins the Coyote tennis program after training and competing at the Scuola Professionale per Sportivi D'élite (SPSE), a school dedicated to developing elite student-athletes. Cassy brings strong international experience to the team. She plans to major in neuroscience at USD while continuing to grow and compete at the collegiate level.
Ava Doddridge (Spring 2026)
Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, Ava Doddridge joins the Coyote tennis program after an accomplished career at Queen Margaret College. A key contributor to her school's success, Ava helped lead her team to second and third place finishes at consecutive School Nationals and captured three regional interschool titles. At the 2025 School Nationals, she posted a 3-1 singles record, helping her team secure a third-place finish. Ava also excelled academically, earning merit endorsements in Levels 1, 2, and 3, along with excellence marks in Statistics and Business. She plans to major in business administration while continuing to make an impact for the Coyotes on the court.
Nastya Soloveva (Fall 2026)
Originally from Moscow, Russia, Nastya Soloveva joins the Coyote tennis program with an impressive record of success on the national stage. A Master of Sports of Russia in Tennis and member of the Moscow Region Team, Nastya has captured multiple titles, including first place at the Lyubertsy City Championship (Juniors, Doubles), the Sergiev Posad District Championship (Adults, Doubles, 2024), and the All-Russian Tournament "Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova Cup" (Juniors, Doubles, 2025). She also earned a third-place finish in singles at the 2024 Sergiev Posad District Championship. Ranked among the top junior players in Russia, Nastya brings strong experience in both singles and doubles. She graduated with honors from GAPOU MO "PC" "Energy" and plans to major in computer science at USD.
Nora Krajewski (Fall 2026)
Hailing from Yankton, South Dakota, Nora Krajewski will join the Coyote tennis program in the fall of 2026 after an outstanding high school career at Yankton High School, where she competed for the Gazelles. A dominant force on the court, Nora is a five-time All-State and All-Conference selection, a three-time Singles State Champion, and a two-time Doubles State Champion. She also earned four conference titles in both singles and doubles and helped her team capture multiple sportsmanship awards. Nora leaves Yankton High holding school records for most singles and doubles wins in both a season and a career and was recognized with the Spirit of Max Award for her leadership and character. Off the court, she excelled academically as a Valedictorian, four-time Roll of Excellence honoree, and Academic All-State selection. Nora plans to major in finance while continuing her success in both singles and doubles competition for the Coyotes.
Coach Zinchenko had this to say about the new signings, "I'm very excited to welcome all these new athletes to our program and to USD community! Some of them will have an immediate impact and will join us in the Spring, while others will become part of the team in the Fall. Nonetheless, I believe every player that we signed brings a unique experience and style to this team and will make us stronger as a unit. All these players have tremendous potential and I cannot wait to see them compete while representing Coyote Nation!"
