Larkins named to all-star game watch list

TAMPA, Fla. — Grace Larkins is one of nearly 70 collegiate seniors named to the College All-Star Game Watch List presented by Herbalife, announced Tuesday morning.
 
The Women's College All-Star Game made a return in 2024, and will be held again this year on April 5 in Tampa, Fla. The 2025 Women's College All-Star Game will feature the top senior standouts. Twenty of the over 60 names on the watch list will be selected to participate in the event that will be televised on ESPN2 at 2 p.m. CT (3 p.m. ET).
 
Larkins is one of 50 athletes named to the midseason watch list, and one of ten mid-major players on the watch list. She is the lone Summit League athlete on the watch list. Larkins has also been named to the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year and USBWA's Ann Drysdale Meyers National Player of the Year midseason watch lists.
 
This season, Larkins, who headlined the USBWA's Women's National Players of the Week for the week of Jan. 12, is averaging 24.4 points per game (fourth in the NCAA), 9.4 rebounds (43rd), and 5.6 assists (19th). Her 37.2 minutes per game ranks fifth in the country. Larkins has scored more points than any other player in the country with 561 points, and is 12th in the country in assists.
 
Larkins has four Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performer of the Week honors to her name this season, and after breaking the school's single game scoring record with 45 points against Omaha, received the Associated Press National Player of the Week and the USBWA National Players of the Week.
 
Larkins has climbed the school record books as a senior, and now stands third in Coyote history in points (1,907), fourth in free throws made (421), fifth in assists (475), seventh in rebounds (818), and eighth in steals (195).
 
The complete watch list can be found on the event's website at www.womenscollegeallstar.com. The final event roster will be announced the week of the event. Participants in the Women's College All-Star Game will be players that have exhausted or will for forego their remaining eligibility.
