VERMILLION, S.D. — In the 12
th annual installment of the
Calling All Coyotes, a red-tie event held on April 11 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, the University of South Dakota athletic department is ecstatic to announce another record-breaking auction total for the second-straight season with a total of $821,255 raised. The event served as an evening of celebration dedicated to the achievements of USD student-athletes, while recognizing a community that helps create opportunities for their success.

th Calling All Coyotes Celebration was. Coyote Nation continues to amaze, and this night showcases the collective passion for Coyote Athletics in the face of the most chaotic time in the history of Division I collegiate athletics," commented Director of Athletics
Jon Schemmel. "
Ben LeCompte, and his team, have done a tremendous job reestablishing the growth and impact of this event with his team and the incredible work of the committee, sponsors, and many volunteers."
CorTrust Bank served as the presenting sponsor for the evening, which included silent and live auctions with drinks and a plated dinner.
For the second-straight year USD increased the total earned by over $200,000. The $821,255 total in 2025 set a record from 2024's $603,854 amount which was the previous events record. In total, the Calling All Coyotes auction has raised over $4 million dollars for the Yote Fund since its inception 12 years ago.
