RICHMOND, Va. — The South Dakota men's and women's swimming and diving teams received Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 2025 spring semester.

To qualify for the recognition, teams must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale during the 2025 spring term. There were 763 teams from 432 institutions recognized with the Scholar All-America honor. Â

The South Dakota women earned Scholar All-America status for a 21st consecutive term after earning a 3.60 team GPA. Five of the seven Summit League women's programs received the award. The Coyote women had 14 individuals earn 4.0 GPA's in the spring semester.

The Coyote men earned a 3.43 team GPA to receive the award for a 16th consecutive semester. Of the seven Summit League men's programs, five of them received the award. The South Dakota men had seven individuals earn a 4.0 GPA during the spring semester.

The teams also earned the honor after the 2024 fall semester where there were 780 plus programs from 450 plus institutions recognized with the Scholar All-America honor. The men's team had a 3.43 GPA and the women's team a 3.66 GPA during the fall term.
