VERMILLION, S.D. — University of South Dakota Swimming and Diving Coach
Jason Mahowald announces the 2025-26 competition schedule. The schedule features seven home meets in the brand-new USD Natatorium, as well as trips to Florida, Texas, and Georgia.
The season opens September 27 with a Red vs. White meet at the USD Natatorium. The following week on October 3, the Women's team will take on Minnesota State while the men compete against Augustana. Both teams will be hosted at the USD Natatorium. The next day, October 4, USD will host an Alumni meet.
On October 10, the Coyotes will travel to Minneapolis, MN to compete in a Tri-Dual with Minnesota and Nebraska. They will then make the trip to Lawrence, KS on October 17-18 to take on Kansas and Missouri S&T.
To end October, the Yotes host two home meets. The first on October 24 when the women's team will host Iowa State, and the second on October 31-November 1 as both teams host the Coyote Extravaganza.
USD ends their fall semester with a trip to St. Paul, MN for the St. Thomas Invite on November 20-22.
The spring semester starts with a dual with St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN on January 2-3.
Later in the month, on January 23, the Coyotes will travel to Omaha, NE to compete with the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The following day (January 24), USD will host South Dakota State at the USD Natatorium.
For the last regular season meet the Yotes will host the Coyote Invite at the USD Natatorium on January 30-31.
The Summit League Championships will be held in Iowa City, IA on February 18-21. Then the Coyotes will travel to the CSCAA-NIC Championships in Ocala, FL on March 12-14.
The season concludes with the NCAA Zone Diving Championships in College Station, TX on March 9-11, the Women's NCAA Championships in Atlanta, GA on March 18-21, and the Men's NCAA Championships in Atlanta, GA on March 25-28.
