VERMILLION, S.D. — Associate AD for Events and Facilities Chad Davison has announced the addition of Marshall Crum to the events team at the University of South Dakota.

"I'm thrilled to have Marshall join our Event Management team. He comes in with great experience and a positive attitude," said Davison. "I am excited to watch him grow as the Assistant Director and see him continue to elevate both Coyote Athletics and the game day experience."

Crum joins the athletic department after a stint as the Event Management Assistant at Purdue University for the 2024-25 academic year. He worked closely with the Purdue events staff to manage the 2024-25 printing and distribution of credentials and had oversight of the parking staff for Boilermaker game days for football and basketball. He also assisted in other events duties such as logistics for officials and visiting teams.

While a student at Purdue, Crum also worked with the events department at Purdue, working his way up to the event management student lead position.

Crum earned his degree in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University in December 2024.
