Mülla earns first Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performer honor of season

01.20.2026

VERMILLION, S.D. – Marleen Mülla started her 2026 indoor season on the home track Saturday, and her performance earned her the Kwik Star Summit League Women's Indoor Field Peak Performer of the Week honor for the first time this season.

Mülla was the top collegiate finisher in the women's pole vault at the USD Alumni Meet, clearing 13-11 ¼ (4.25m). That height is ranked first in the Summit League and 15th in the NCAA. Teammate Anna Willis placed third at the USD Alumni but cleared the same bar.

This is Mülla's 12th weekly Summit League honor overall and first of the 2025-26 season. She now has seven indoor honors, which ranks fifth in conference history.

The Coyotes are back in action Saturday at the SDSU Jim Emmerich Alumni Meet in Brookings.
