Sioux Falls, S.D. — Grace Schultz and
Tanner Reed were selected by the Summit League as the Swim and Dive Scholars of the Championships presented by JLG Architects.
The Scholar of the Championship award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative undergraduate grade-point average participating at each of the Summit League's 19 championships. Each institution that is participating in a Summit League championship is eligible to submit one nominee for the Scholar of the Championship award.
Grace Schultz, women's swimming and diving
Schultz is a senior from Merrill, Wis. who is studying marketing at USD. She was named to the Academic All-Summit League team the last two seasons and made the Summit League Honor Roll all three. She was also named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence the past two seasons with a CSC Academic All-District nod after her junior year.
Tanner Reed, men's swimming and diving
Reed is a junior from Denver, Colo. who is studying medical biology. He was named to the Summit League Honor Roll the past two seasons as well as making the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence after last season.
