FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – South Dakota women's pole vaulters
Marleen Mülla and
Anna Willis are set to compete at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday afternoon in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
MEET INFORMATION
The NCAA Indoor National Championships are set for Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville. The women's pole vault competition that features both Mülla and Willis starts at 4 p.m. Saturday.
The Championships are livestreamed on ESPN+ with a paid subscription. There is a live stream that begins at 4 p.m. Central Time Saturday on ESPN+ that will highlight all of the action happening in Fayetteville.

THE COYOTES
South Dakota has the second and third ranked women's pole vaulters in the country competing at the Indoor Championships this weekend. Mülla personal best and school record bar of 15-2 ¼ (4.63m) puts her second, with Willis' 15-1 (4.60m) being third in the NCAA this winter.
Earlier this season in the same venue as the Indoor Championships, both Mülla and Willis cleared 15-1, a then school record. The Coyote duo make up 50% (2-of-4) of competitors in the field to have cleared 15-0 this season.
Mülla is a five time all-American (three-time indoor) and a six-time Estonian National Champion who competed at the 2025 World Outdoor Championships this fall. She won the Summit League Indoor Pole Vault title two weeks ago in Grand Forks.
Willis is a one-time all-American making her first appearance at the NCAA Indoor Championships. She was a first team all-American outdoor as a freshman and won the United States U20 Pole Vault title over the summer. Willis won the 2025 Indoor Summit League title in the pole vault and has been an all-Summit League performer in each of the last two seasons (2025 outdoor, 2026 indoor).
NATIONAL RANKINGS
South Dakota women's track and field remained in the Top 25, ranking 25
th in the national rankings this week. USD is the only Summit League program, men's or women's, to be nationally ranked inside the Top 25.
The Coyote women's pole vault squad is nationally ranked second in the NCAA, with
Marleen Mülla and
Anna Willis ranking second and third entering this weekend.
