VERMILLION, S.D. — The South Dakota women's tennis team hosts Omaha on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the USD Tennis Courts as the Coyotes celebrate Senior Day for Selena Bird.

Omaha enters the matchup with a 13-8 overall record and a 3-0 mark in Summit League play. The Coyotes return to conference action looking to improve upon their 1-2 league record following a brief break from conference competition that included nonconference matches against Creighton and Kansas.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Selena Bird, the lone senior on this year's Coyote roster, will be honored as part of Senior Day festivities. Bird currently ranks fifth all-time in program history in tournament singles victories and fourth in dual singles wins. She has competed at the No. 1 singles position this season, posting a 1-1 record in her most recent matches, including a singles victory against Creighton. Bird is currently 2-1 in conference singles play so far this season.
