VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota women's golf program continues its 2026-27 campaign with the Redbird Invitational at the Weibring Golf Club in Normal, Ill. The event will feature the Yotes, the Augustana, Butler, Denver, Eastern Kentucky, Illinois Wesleyan, Indiana State, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, St. Thomas and the hosts Illinois State.
 
The 54-hole meet will consist of 36 holes on Sunday and 18 more on Monday with tee times beginning at 8:30 a.m (CT).
 
REDBIRD INVITATIONAL
Tuesday marks the fourth consecutive year the Coyotes visit Bloomington-Normal for the Redbird Invitational.
 
Last season, South Dakota finished second in the 16-team field with a season high average of 293 over the three-round event.
 
Eva Greenberg, Ava Schroeder, Morgan Rupp and Ella Greenberg all competed in last year's meet in Fargo, looking to improve their scores from last season.
 
Ella Greenberg shot a career-best 67 on Day 3 of the event her freshmen year.

THE COURSE
Opened in May of 1964, Weibring Golf Club is a championship level course located in Normal, Ill. designed and coordinated by PGA Champions Tour Player and ISU Alumnus D.A. Weibring
The course plays a 6,169-yard, Par 72 course last renovated in 2019.
 
THE WEATHER
Beautiful weather will once again grace the Land of Lincoln on Sunday and Monday.
 
Picture-perfect weather begins the event on Sunday with temperatures reaching 76 degrees in the afternoon, with the morning starting in the mid 60s.
 
Monday will be a bit warmer in the morning, but sunny skies will prevail as the day moves into the afternoon. High is slated to be a gorgeous 76 degrees.
