2020-21
Team Captain … season was reduced to four games in the spring due to COVID-19 ... was one of 15 Coyotes who started all four games, he at safety … finished as the team’s second-leading tackler with 30 stops … had five tackles and sealed the Coyotes’ win at No. 7 Illinois State with an interception in the end zone in the season opener (2/27) … forced a fumble at the goal line that USD recovered in week two at No. 4 North Dakota (3/4) … led the team with nine tackles and recovered a fumble in the final game at Youngstown State (3/20) … was not charged a year of eligibility due to NCAA rules related to the pandemic

2019
Honorable mention all-MVFC honoree … one of 30 Coyotes who competed in all 12 games and earned five starts at safety … finished as the Coyotes’ second-leading tackler and ranked 14^th in the Valley at 7.2 tackles per game … tied for the team lead and ranked 13^th in the Valley with eight pass breakups … was the team’s leading tackler three times including a career-high 14 tackles against top-ranked North Dakota St (11/16) … had a team-high 13 tackles and returned an interception 38 yards to setup a go-ahead score late in the fourth quarter against Houston Baptist (9/14) … totaled 86 tackles in all including 55 solo stops and six on special teams

2018
One of 37 Coyotes who competed in all 11 games … started six of the last seven games of the season at safety … was the team’s second-leading tackler after entering the starting lineup in week five … finished as the team’s fourth-leading tackler overall with 62 stops including 46 solo tackles … was the team’s leader on special teams with 11 tackles … had a season-high 10 tackles in back-to-back weeks at Youngstown State (10/20) and at home against top-ranked North Dakota State (10/27) … was credited with three pass breakups ... MVFC Honor Roll member

2017
One of 18 redshirt freshmen who earned playing time throughout the season … competed in eight games at cornerback … came in mainly to defend 1-on-1s near the goal line … totaled three tackles including one on special teams … was credited with a pass breakup in a shutout win against Southern Illinois (10/28)

2016
Redshirted … was named Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week (leading up to Western Illinois)

Prep
Reed is a three-time, first-team all-conference defensive back in the 5A South Metro League ... accumulated 123 tackles, 11 interceptions, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries at Rangeview ... was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2012 and set the school record for interceptions in a season in 2013 when he was named Defensive Back of the Year ... on special teams, returned seven kicks for 182 yards and had two touchdowns ... also played basketball for the state-ranked Raiders ... was an athletic honor roll member
