         Played in all 11 games and was one of 14 Coyotes with at least 10 starts, he at        safety...honorable mention all-MVFC honoree...led the team with 35 solo tackles and was        tied for third overall with 74 stops on the season...also had three tackles-for-loss        including a solo sack of 11 yards against North Dakota State (10/20)...had the 19th-most        tackles in MVFC play...had a team-high and season-high 11 tackles vs. Northern Iowa        (11/10)...tied for fourth on the team with three pass breakups...blocked a field goal        attempt in the fourth quarter against Youngstown State (11/3)...forced a fumble against        Indiana State (10/27).

         Played and started all 11 games for the Coyote defense...Finished fifth on the team in        total tackles with 54...Had 36 solo stops along with one tackle for loss for three        yards...Ranked tied for first in pass breakups with five and was tied for second in fumble        recoveries with two for two yards...Had a season-high eight total stops at Wisconsin and        against UC Davis.
        2010
         Played in all 11 games and made 10 starts as USD's starting free safety...finished fourth        on the team with 61 tackles, including 38 solo stops...posted a season-high 10 tackles at        Southern Utah...had one tackle for loss for three yards...posted a team-high four pass        breakups...earned one interception and one fumble recovery...received USD's Most Valuable        Freshman Award...named USD's Defensive Player of the Week once during the season.
        Prep
         A two-star recruit according to Rivals.com...was a consistent and quick-footed cornerback        for Coach Tom Doherty and Class 5A Eaglecrest High School...notched 32 tackles, including a        season-high 10 in one game, and two sacks to earn all-conference and all-city honors as a        senior...also earned both accolades as a junior and was an academic all-state selection in        the classroom.
