Will go down in Coyote lore as the man who threw the “Hail Mary” to beat fourth-ranked South Dakota State 23-20 on Senior Day inside the DakotaDome (11/13) … it was a 57-yard touchdown throw on a play that began with one second on the clock … the play was named the Sports Illustrated Play of the Year for 2021 and Camp and wide receiver Jeremiah Webb, who was on the receiving end of the throw, were invited to Sports Illustrated’s Award Show where the duo accepted the award on stage on behalf of the Coyote football program … one of eight Coyotes who started all 12 games … completed 180-of-276 passes for 2,252 yards and 17 touchdowns against seven interceptions … also ran for 97 yards and a score … had the 11^th-best completion percentage in the nation (65.2 percent) … had the 14^th-best pass efficiency rating in the country (149.0) … threw three touchdowns in a span of nine plays in the second quarter of a 38-10 Dakota Days win against Indiana State (10/2) … was his first collegiate three-touchdown passing game … threw a program-record, 91-yard touchdown pass to Carter Bell in a road win at Western Illinois (11/6) … tossed at least two touchdown passes six times during conference play and seven times during the season … passed for a season-high 288 yards in that win against South Dakota State … MVFC honor roll member

Named to the MVFC All-Newcomer Team … became the first true freshman in USD recorded history to start a season opener at quarterback … passed for 221 yards and accounted for all three touchdowns in leading the Coyotes to a 27-20 win at No. 7 Illinois State in his collegiate debut … season was reduced to four games in the spring due to COVID-19 ... was one of 15 Coyotes who started all four games and was one of 10 true freshmen who competed for USD … completed 82 of 130 passes for 967 yards … passed for three scores and ran for another … ranked in the top-20 nationally in passing yards per game (16^th), completions per game (16^th) and completion percentage (19^th) … was the second-leading passer in the Valley in terms of yards per game … threw for a season-high 339 yards and a touchdown in his DakotaDome debut against Missouri State (3/13) … was not charged a year of eligibility due to NCAA rules related to the pandemic ...
