Played three seasons for the Cowboys and appeared in 37 games...Saw action in 13 games in 2011 with three tackles including a fumble recovery scoring a touchdown. In 2010, he tallied two tackles playing as a reserve cornerback and on special teams...As a redshirt freshman in 2009, he saw action on both sides of the ball as he had one carry for one yard at Colorado and one reception for 12 yards versus Texas...Caraway redshirted in 2008.

Caraway earned All-City honors as a senior from the Topeka Capital-Journal....Rushed for 839 yards as a senior to go along with 220 receiving yards and 400 combined return yards, while making 59 tackles on defense...As a junior, rushed for 638 yards, 200 yards receiving along with over 300 return yards and 30 tackles...Was the Scots leading rusher, played cornerback on defense and was the team's top return specialist...Played in the Scout.com Bowl, a national high school all-star game...A National Honor Society member both his junior and senior seasons...Was recruited by Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri.
