Coyote women face Westmar

VERMILLION, S.D.— The Coyotes bring an impressive 7-2 mark (not counting Thursday's meeting with College of Saint Mary) into tonight's contest. Westmar is 3-7 to date.
 
First year coach Chad Lavin is expected to employ Katie Dailey (6.0 points per game, 3.7 rebounds) and Ann Pancoast (19.4, 5.3) as the starting guards, Karrie Wallen (15.0, 5.2) and Carol Finley (7.0, 6.8) at the forwards, and Pam Olerich (8.7, 6.3) at center.
 
As a team, USD averages 79.6 points per contest as compared to Westmar's 58. The Coyotes also own a 50.3-39 advantage on the boards.
 
Following tonight's contest, the Coyotes will close out the 1982 portion of the schedule next Friday (Dec. 17) with the first-ever alumni game. Tip-off is slated for 5:45 p.m.
