NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The University of South Dakota women's tennis team has been picked to finish fifth in the Great West Conference, according to the league's preseason coaches poll.

USD finished with eight points in the poll. Chicago State, which received four first-place votes, was selected to win the conference.

The 2010 Great West Conference Women's Tennis Championship will be held May 1-2 in Grand Forks, N.D. The championship format will be a team dual match tournament with playoff competition. Seeding of teams shall be determined by the latest ITA rankings leading up to the championship.
