Naperville, Ill. - South Dakota's Gabriel Williams has been named the Great West Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced late Wednesday night. The weekly honor is Williams' second in the last three weeks.

Williams (Sioux City, Iowa) notched wins in the 60- and 200-meter titles last Saturday at Iowa State's Bill Bergan Invite. She improved her GWC-leading time in the 60 with a personal-best 7.56, before posting a season-best 25.40 in the 200 to move into third on the conference performance list.

South Dakota continues its season at Nebraska's Frank Sevigne Invite on Friday and Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.
