VERMILLION, S.D. –Milica Pavlovic, Nina Barudzic, Alice Scott and Sanjana Bidarkal all recorded 2-1 records as the South Dakota tennis team hosted the USD Coyote Invitational on Saturday to end its fall season. The tournament was a doubles only event and featured teams from Omaha, Augustana, Iowa State and North Dakota.

The tournament also had a point standings element to it, which gave players a point for each game won. Pavlovic finished in a tie for third with 18 points, while Barudzic, Scott and Bidarkal all tied for ninth with 16 points.

Pavlovic scored six points in each match. She teamed up with Barudzic to win their opening match of the tournament, beating Jessa Richards and Berkley Darr of Augustana 6-2. Pavlovic played with Dragana Brankovic for her last two matches, topping Iowa State's Caroline Andersen and Alejandra Galvis 6-2 before losing to North Dakota's Callie Ronkowski and Lacey Sprinkle 7-6.

Ronkowski and Sprinkle were the medalists at the tournament by scoring 20 points each. They were the only players to go 3-0 at the tournament.

After parting ways with Pavlovic, Barudzic played her final two matches with Bidarkal. The two would play a pair of teams from Omaha, losing 6-4 to Michelle Lo and Kenzie Hill before beating Becca Stafford and Madeline Holscher 6-1.

Bidarkal teamed up with Omaha's Hill during her first match of the tournament and recorded a 6-3 win over Augustana's Christine Olivo and Heather Sullivan.

Scott played with Coyote teammate Yamini Reddy to start the tournament. They lost 6-3 to North Dakota's Mimi Yunker and Sophie Allen Fisher in their lone outing together. Scott finished the tournament playing with Omaha's Stafford and recorded a 7-6 win in a rematch with Yunker and Fisher before finishing with a 6-1 win over Augustana's Jenna Helleberg and Kaitlyn Motley.
