The Series
South Dakota leads the all-time series 6-3 and has won four straight. Since the series began in 2011-12, when South Dakota joined the Summit, the Coyotes have not lost at home to the Mastodons.

The Game
South Dakota tied up the top of the Summit League standings after defeating South Dakota State in Frost Sunday. There are four teams, South Dakota, South Dakota State, IUPUI, and Oral Roberts, tied at the top of the league standings with a 4-1 record.

South Dakota is the Summit's top scoring, rebounding, and assisting team. Senior guard Nicole Seekamp is the reigning Summit League Player of the Week after averaging 24 points, 8.5 assists, four rebounds, and 2.5 in a pair of road wins at NDSU and SDSU. She's the only player in the nation averaging 16 points, six assists, and three steals per game. The Coyotes' fast pace, coupled with accurate shooting, stolen balls, and a high rebounding margin, has resulted in the 15th-best scoring offense in the nation at 79.1 points per game.

The Mastodons hope to snap an eight-game losing streak inside the DakotaDome. Fort Wayne is led by guard Kamilah Carter's 16.6 points per game, which ranks fifth in the Summit. Josie Fisher also averages in double-figures with 10.4 ppg. Forward Keanna Gary leads the Mastodons on the glass, raking in 8.8 boards per game which ranks second in the Summit for rebounding. The Dons get to the charity stripe 18.4 times per game, more than any other team in the league. Fort Wayne averages a league-high 12.6 made free throws per game.

Last Time Out
South Dakota senior guard Nicole Seekamp drained a game-tying bucket at the regulation horn and stole a pass to seal a South Dakota 96-94 win over North Dakota State at the end of the second overtime period on Thursday. It was the first double-overtime game for South Dakota since playing South Dakota State in 1991. Seekamp scored a team-high 25 points and dished out 10 assists for a double-double. Senior center Margaret McCloud also posted her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore center Kate Liveringhouse also scored in double figures wtih 11 points.

100 Games
Senior guard Kelly Stewart takes the court for her 100th career game Thursday. Stewart is averaging 9.2 points and 4.3 rebounds this season.

Climbing the Charts
Seekamp has stamped a mark on program record books in several categories. Seekamp ranks third for career points (1,743), fourth in assists (501), and third in steals (227). She needs 16 points, six assists, or 22 steals to move up.

#MarchToTheSummit
South Dakota finished 2014-15 with a 13-3 Summit League record and regular season title. The Coyotes only dropped road contests to Oral Roberts, IUPUI, and South Dakota State. This season, the Coyotes are in a four-way tie with the same teams they split a year ago.
