South Dakota tops the Summit in scoring (80.0 ppg), field-goal percentage (45.4), rebounds (40.9 rpg), rebound margin (9.8), assists (18.2 apg) and steals (10.2 spg). Seekamp continues to lead the Coyotes as the only player in the nation averaging 16 points, six assists and three steals per game. Seekamp needs 10 points Sunday for her 100th career double-figure game. Senior guard

Abigail Fogg has made strides in averaging 6.7 ppg in those contests. The Coyotes have the 11th-best scoring offense in the nation.
Omaha has dropped six of its last eight contests. The Mavericks have the Summit's leading scorer in Mikaela Shaw at 18.5 points per game with 8.3 rebounds per game. Shaw's also an accurate shooter at 52.7 percent. She's 30th in the nation for field goals made (158). Freshman Caroline Hogue ranks 14th nationally with 63 blocked shots. She had four last time out against South Dakota. Sophomore Remy Davenport, who put up 10 threes in a game earlier this season, ranks 92nd in the nation for 3-point field goals made at 49.
Last Time OutAll 13 Coyotes saw 10 minutes of court time, with eight scoring seven or more points at Denver. South Dakota's defense limited Denver to 33 points, the lowest opponent score since 2011. After shooting lights out 58.3 percent for 15 points in the opening quarter, the Pioneers went 6-of-35 the rest of the way.
Climbing the Coyote Career ChartsSeekamp has improved in several categories on USD's all-time charts. She ranks second in points (1,828), third in assists (531) and third in steals (239). Seekamp needs two assists or 10 steals to tie for second in either category.
Only 11 players in program history have 1,000 points and 500 rebounds for their Coyote career. Seekamp is closing in on rebounds (452). Meanwhile, McCloud (968) and Hemiller (880) are closing in on points.
Creme's PredictionESPN's Charlie Creme has predicted South Dakota to receive a 13-seed with the Summit bid in his latest women's basketball bracketology report (Feb. 2). The Coyotes are six games out from March Madness and the Summit League Tournament.
#MarchToTheSummitWith the first half of league play concluded, South Dakota remains a contender for the Summit League regular season title for the second consecutive season. The Coyotes finished 2014-15 with a 13-3 Summit League record and a regular season title. With South Dakota State's bye last week, the Coyotes top the charts at 9-1. The Jackrabbits are 8-1 with their only league loss coming from South Dakota.
