2016 Kansas Relays Meet Results

LAWRENCE, Kan.—South Dakota sophomore Shanice Cannigan placed second in the 400 hurdles as the Coyotes wrapped up the final day of the 89th annual Kansas Relays in Rock Chalk Park.
 
Cannigan clocked 1 minute. 0.72 seconds to finish runner-up. Her preliminary time of 59.73 seconds yesterday was the second-fastest in program history.
 
Sophomore Brooke Ireland took fifth in the 400 meters with a time of 57.05 seconds.
 
The men's 4x400-meter relay finished fifth overall in 3:16.45.
 
South Dakota competes at the Mt. Marty Twilight next Wednesday in Yankton, S.D., before traveling to Des Moines, Iowa, for the Drake Relays later in the week.
