The South Dakota men's basketball team travels to Colorado for an 8 p.m. (CST) contest Tuesday night.

The Game
Tuesday marks the first-ever meeting between the two schools as both squads are coming off victories on Saturday. South Dakota looks for its first victory over a Pac-12 opponent while Colorado looks to increase its win streak to four games.

The Buffaloes
Colorado enters Tuesday's action 5-1 overall with a perfect 4-0 record on its home floor inside the CU Events Center. The lone blemish on CU's schedule is a 70-64 loss at San Diego on Nov. 20. Most recently, the Buffaloes defeated in-state rival Colorado State 86-80 on Saturday to run their win streak to three games.

McKinley Wright paces the Colorado offense with 14.8 points per game as Lucas Siewert is just behind at 14.2 points. Tyler Bey and Namon Wright join the duo in double digits at 11.5 and 10.7 points per game, respectively. Bey tops the team with 7.7 rebounds per game.

Colorado was picked to finish seventh in the preseason Pac-12 coaches and media poll.

South Dakota is 4-3 after topping CSU Bakersfield 68-56 Saturday behind a career-best 19 points from
Stanley Umude. The sophomore went 5-of-8 from the field and sank 8-of-10 free throw attempts to set his career mark. He was joined in double-digit scoring by senior
Logan Power with 11 points, matching a career best.

Trey Burch-Manning continues to lead the Coyotes with 16.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. He enters the game just 10 points short of 1,000 in his career, when mixing 258 points he scored at North Idaho College as a freshman. He is joined in double-digit scoring by
Triston Simpson at 13.7,
Tyler Peterson at 11.0 and
Brandon Armstrong at 10.4 points per game.

Defensively, South Dakota has proven stout ranking 23
rd in the nation allowing just 61.1 points per game. In four games, South Dakota has now allowed an opponent to reach 60 points while not allowing more than 62 points in six of the seven contests.

The Series
Tuesday's meeting is the first between the two schools. South Dakota has faced a Pac-12 opponent on three occasions in the Division I era, most recently falling to UCLA last season.

South Dakota, a proven defensive team, has held the opponents leading scorer to 7.4 points under their season average this year. The opponent's top scorer entering a game against USD has reached double-digits just twice and has not led their team in scoring in a game against the Yotes.
