"I am really happy with how well the team played this weekend," coach
Brett Barnett said. "You never really know what to expect the first tournament of the year but our six healthy players played great all weekend. It was a goal to make deep runs in the tournament.
"Habiba and Nanette played really good focused tennis this weekend to win their singles flights. Winning B/C singles flights shows how deep this team is."
The Coyote doubles tandems of
Luana Stanciu and
Laura Janícková along with
Jana Lazarevic and

"I'm also really happy with how our doubles looked this early in the year," Barnett added. "It has been and will continue to be a big focus in practice. We have a lot of things to work on and we will be ready for a big challenge at the Gopher Invite this week."
