VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball ranks fourth in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Poll as announced late Tuesday evening, remaining ranked for the 10th poll of the season. The Coyotes continue to receive votes in the Associated Press poll for the sixth-straight week.
The Coyotes (14-3, 2-1 Summit) split last week's high-scoring Summit affairs between Denver and South Dakota State. While South Dakota fell 104-99 at Denver on Thursday, the Yotes bounced back with a double-overtime win against in-state rival South Dakota State by a margin of 105-98.

Ciara Duffy put away a career high 28 points, sophomore center
Hannah Sjerven tallied a career best 23 points and senior guard
Allison Arens pitched in 20 points. It marked the first time in program history that three players have amassed 20 or more points in a single game. All three are now averaging double-figures on the season.
South Dakota hosts Purdue Fort Wayne in the Coyotes' lone game of the week at noon Saturday inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
