VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota has been added to the Little Apple Classic field hosted by Kansas State on Wednesday and Friday, November 25 and 27 tournament officials announced Monday.
The Coyotes will play in two games in the event, beginning with Colorado on Wednesday at 7 p.m. USD and Drake will lead off the final day of the tournament on November 27 at 1 p.m.
The Little Apple Classic will mark the first two games of the season for the Coyotes. South Dakota replaces South Dakota State in the classic.
South Dakota return five players from a team that posted a 20-12 overall record in 2019-20 and welcome in 11 new players to the fold this season that include
A.J. Plitzuweit,
Brady Heiman and
Kanon Koster who sat out last season due to transfer rules.
Additional non-conference games will be announced as they become official.
