VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball ranks third in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll released Tuesday evening.
The Coyotes are paced by a trio of senior starters averaging double-figures. Summit Preseason Player of the Year
Hannah Sjerven leads the squad with 16 points and eight boards per game,
Liv Korngable adds 15.5 points and 5.8 assists per game, and
Chloe Lamb pitches in 14.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. All three rank in the Summit's top-10 for scoring, making USD the only school in the league to have three players inside that top-10.
Lamb is the reigning Summit League Player of the Week after tallying her first collegiate double-double of 29 points and 11 boards at Wichita State. Her 29 points are tied for first in the Summit for points scored in a single game.
The Coyotes are ranked for the 55th consecutive CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll and have ranked in the poll's top-five for 24 straight weeks.
