VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball enters Tuesday's championship game ranked No. 17 in this weeks Associated Press poll and No. 11 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
South Dakota has set a Summit League record for weeks ranked in both polls with 11 weeks in the AP Poll and 15 weeks in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
South Dakota rolled Omaha 99-40 in the quarterfinals, setting a new program-high for points in a Summit League Tournament game. It was the fifth-highest by any team in the Summit Tournament. The Coyotes followed that up with a 65-43 win over Oral Roberts in yesterday's semifinals. South Dakota's stout defense held the Golden Eagles to just one field goal in a 25-5 second quarter.

Ciara Duffy earned a spot on the Academic All-America first team on Monday and was named a finalist for the Becky Hammond Mid-Major Player of the Year on Tuesday. She's one of five Coyotes averaging double-figures in USD's two tournament games.
