VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball is ranked fifth in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll for the fifth consecutive week as announced Tuesday evening.
The Coyotes are ranked for the 60th consecutive CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll and have ranked in the poll's top-five for 29-straight weeks.
South Dakota (8-3, 4-0 Summit) comes off its bye week in Summit League action. It's full steam ahead for six-straight weeks of regular season league play, with the Coyotes hitting the road for three of the next four series.
The Coyotes are led by the senior trio of
Hannah Sjerven,
Chloe Lamb and
Liv Korngable ranking 2-3-4 in the Summit League for scoring this season. South Dakota is the only school in the nation to have three scorers rank in the top-five of its conference.
The Coyotes tip-off at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Western Illinois in Macomb, Ill.
