Coyotes remain No. 5 in Mid-Major Poll

VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball is ranked fifth in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll for the sixth consecutive week as announced Tuesday evening.
 
The Coyotes are ranked for the 61st consecutive CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll and have ranked in the poll's top-five for 30-straight weeks.
 
South Dakota (10-3, 6-0 Summit) is coming off a pair of road wins at Western Illinois in Macomb, Illinois. The Coyotes have won 24-straight games in Summit League regular season contests.
 
This weekend's series with Omaha was canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test within Omaha's program. The next game on the Coyotes' schedule is at in-state rival South Dakota State on Friday, Feb. 5, in Brookings, S.D.
