Host John Thayer is joined by South Dakota Director of Athletics David Herbster, Coyote triathlon head coach Kyle Joplin and South Dakota State play-by-play man Tyler Merriam on this week's edition of YoteCast.

Joplin previews the upcoming USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships held this Saturday in Tempe, Arizona. The meet resumes after a canceled 2020 championship. South Dakota was the national runner-up in the 2018 and 2019 season.

Thayer is in his ninth year with Coyote Sports Network by Learfield. He moved into the play-by-play role for Coyote football and men's basketball in 2020 after spending seven years as the voice of Coyote women's basketball and a sideline reporter for football.
