VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota men's golf team will tee off the 2020-21 season in Florida at the Southern Invitational. The Yotes will compete at the The Falls Club, a Par 72, 6,757 Yard course.
The field will include Old Dominion, Middle Tennessee St, VCU, Nova Southeastern, Mercer, Drake, Campbellm Creighton, Stetson, Austin Peay State, Towson and South Dakota.
The Yotes will feature a lineup that includes senior
Matt Tolan,
Tate Arends,
Ben Hicks,
Ian Johnston and
Ryan Neff. Freshman
Ben Daane will make his Coyote debut as an individual.
This will be the first tournament for the men's squad since last February. The Yotes were picked to finish fourth in the Summit League with Tolan being named golfer to watch. The Coyotes return six golfers and feature three new golfers in Daane,
Nick LaMotte and Neff.
The tournament tees off on Monday and will have rounds one and two with Tuesday having the third and final round.
